Centrale Nantes ranked 151-200 for Mechanical Engineering and 301-400 for Management in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022
The 2022 edition of the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects is now out. Centrale Nantes stands out in Mechanical Engineering, climbing to the top 151-200, and entering the Management ranking in the top 301-400.

In this year's Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), Centrale Nantes climbs from 301-400 last year to 151-200 for mechanical engineering (which places the school in 11th place among French institutions), and enters the 301-400 group for management (12th French institution).
The 2022 ranking assessed more than 5,000 universities and schools in 96 countries, across 54 subjects in natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences.
The GRAS rankings use a range of objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in respective subjects, including research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality, and international academic awards.
These results are in line with Centrale Nantes' strategy of developing excellence in research, training and innovation in engineering, with a multidisciplinary approach encompassing its application in the business world.
