The RESOURCECODE project, funded by Ocean Energy Era-Net Cofund, was launched to support investment and growth in the wave and tidal energy sector through the creation of an integrated marine data toolbox.

The RESOURCECODE Marine Data Tool will integrate a high resolution data set combined with retrospective analysis and analysis tools on a joint online platform enabling easy access and analysis. The toolkit is due to be launched in 2021, leveraging 30 years of hindcast wave data from across northwest Europe.
The toolkit will provide technology developers and supply chain companies with state-of-the-art characterisation to improve technical designs, optimise operations in highly demanding marine environments and increase investor confidence.
