This new cluster will launch on Wednesday 23 November at Centrale Nantes, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m in lecture theatre S.
Rapid technological development and digital transition are bringing new challenges concerning how human factors and user experience aret aken into account in industrial design, manufacturing and production processes.
The cluster's activities may concern educational programmes, research projects or innovative experiments on:
the impact of technological and digital development on ergonomics and human-machine interactions
user-centred design methodologies for the Industry of the Future
taking into account the individual in the management of change towards the Industry of the Future.
The project is headed up by Toinon VIGIER, lecturer at Nantes Université (Polytech Nantes)/LS2N, and Damien CHABLAT, senior researcher at CNRS/LS2N.
I-Site NExT
is overseeing the project through a state grant managed by the French National Research Agency (
ANR)
under the Investments for the Future Programme. The project also has funding from the Pays de la Loire Region.
