OPIN aims to boost the ocean energy sector and its supply chains by strengthening cooperation between the various sectors (oil and gas, offshore wind, etc.) and between the countries of Northern Europe. This collaboration will enable the ocean energy sector and its supply chains to benefit from the knowledge, know-how and products of other sectors, and vice versa.
Centrale Nantes, via Weamec, is one of the partners in this project which will run for three years, from October 2018 to December 2021, with a total budget of € 2.6 million, with the support of Interreg North West Europe, which is providing €1.5 million in ERDF funding.
