Customised training for Naval Group and the National Defence University of Malaysia
This project was part of a more global technology transfer contract between Naval Group and Malaysia which includes time dedicated to the training of Master's students in Naval Architecture Technology.
This was a very unusual project that Centrale Nantes Executive Education organised at the request of Naval Group and the National Defence University of Malaysia (Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia): training three people to become trainers within their University.
Centrale Nantes faculty and an expert in underwater acoustics were asked to set up a three-week course in English. The three trainees followed this course at Centrale Nantes where they were given elements to work on concrete cases. After this training they returned to Malaysia to teach underwater acoustics and numerical simulation of fluid mechanics to their undergraduate students.
