Centrale Nantes confirms its commitment to sustainable development in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022
Centrale Nantes features in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for the fourth consecutive year and is ranked in 8th place among the French institutions in the ranking.

The Times Higher Education "Impact Rankings" 2022 assessed 1,406 higher education institutions in 106 countries, according to the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations.
Centrale Nantes performed well on four goals in particular:
Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all (top 300)
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts (top 400)
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all (top 400)
The school's presence in this ranking reflects staff and student commitment to climate challenges, in keeping with Nantes University - of which Centrale Nantes has been a component institution since January 2022 and which is ranked in this edition in the Top 5 French universities and the Top 400 worldwide.
Based on our firm belief that training, research and innovation are essential for understanding the phenomena and identifying possible solutions, the school is committed not only to supporting sustainable development goals through our teaching, research and knowledge transfer, but also to embodying these goals in our internal practices, policies and procedures.
