Visiting Professor at Centrale Nantes: C. Can Aydıner
Professor C. Can Aydiner from Boğaziçi University, Turkey will be visiting the GeM Research Institute from 11 to 20 September at the invitation of Professor Laurent Stainier.

Prof. C. Can Aydiner's visit is organised as part of of the bilateral CHP Bosphorus project on the characterisation and thermomechanical modelling of magnesium alloys.
On Thursday 16 September, he will lead a seminar for PhD students and researchers on the theme: "Strain localization patterns in Magnesium via multi-scale digital image correlation".
