On 6/7 December 2018, the Fédération Française du Bâtiment (French Building Federation) and Nancy city council organized a hackathon to combine public building and new technologies. The students had 24 hours to present a project to the jury and propose a solution to optimise building site resources.
Centrale Nantes engineering student, Sekaina EL KHATTABI, teamed up with two other students (from EIVP and INP), to come up with a site monitoring application which would provide detailed information on available resources, thus streamlining supply and solving blockages, all thanks to AI.
