2nd General Assembly of the HERITAGE NETWORK

Following on from the HERITAGE Erasmus Mundus Action 2 international partnership project, Centrale Nantes created the HERITAGE NETWORK. It includes a dozen Indian and a dozen European higher education institutions in the field of science and technology.

from February 5, 2018 to February 8, 2018

Since its inception in April 2017, this network has been chaired by the Director of International Relations of Centrale Nantes.
February 2018: the second General Assembly took place at IIT Madras in India and brought together around fifty representatives of the partner institutions. A workshop on SmartCities was held during the event with experts from partner institutions in this field.

The HERITAGE NETWORK aims to strengthen cooperation in higher education (research and training) between Europe and India, particularly in the field of engineering sciences. It intends to develop academic and research exchanges between partner institutions, and to promote high-level educational programmes in engineering, science, design and technology between Europe and India. To this end, annual workshops are organised on scientific and technical topics of mutual interest.

The HERITAGE NETWORK also aims to be a reference for European and Indian governments and to gain influence in internationalisation policies for cooperation in higher education and research.
