Centrale Nantes: more attractive on the international stage

In 2019, international students accounted for 43% of the student body at Centrale Nantes, representing more than 84 nationalities. More than two-thirds of engineering programme students were engaged in incoming or outgoing mobility programmes via 52 double degree agreements concluded with 183 international partners. Almost 30% of graduates take up their first employment abroad.
2019 was marked by the launch of E-PiCo and JEMARO, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters degrees coordinated by Centrale Nantes. The school partnered with the University of Kobe on the Franco-Japanese project PHC-Sakura and consolidated its presence in MAGALHAES and Heritage Network.

PHC Sakura - the Franco-Japanese Project between Centrale Nantes and Kobe University - accepted!

The PHC Sakura project, a Franco-Japanese collaboration between Centrale Nantes and the University of Kobe has just been accepted. The project aims to facilitate and promote cooperation between young Japanese and French researchers.
Centrale Nantes taking part in SAM: a new Erasmus + project on Additive Manufacturing skills

Centrale Nantes is a consortium member of SAM, an Erasmus + funded sector skills alliance programme which seeks to establish a platform for Additive Manufacturing skills at European, national and regional levels. The project commenced in January 2019 and involves the IS3P Research Group, LS2N Laboratory.

Franco-Japanese collaboration on bio-informatics at Centrale Nantes

Given the geographical distance, the language barrier and the predominance of American-European perspectives, research advances in Asia can be little-known on our shores. The objective of scientific exchanges between Centrale Nantes, the National Institute of Informatics (NII Tokyo) and the University of Kobe in Japan seek to promote exchanges between young researchers – especially in the fields of bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.
Two new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees coordinated by Centrale Nantes - E-PiCo and JEMARO –, a true guarantee of academic excellence

Centrale Nantes was selected by the European Commission in September 2019 to coordinate the E-PiCo and JEMARO Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees for a six-year period. September 2020 will see the first intake of students on both programmes.
