2019 highlights - Incubator

Pierre Moscovici, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, is visiting Centrale Nantes to meet with three of the incubator’s start-ups: XSun, Bee Healthcare and AKRYVIA.

AIRBUS, AIRBUS Développement & Centrale Nantes signed a partnership agreement on 30th April to forge closer links between AIRBUS Development, Centrale Nantes and the Centrale-Audencia-ensa Nantes Incubator *.

XSun presented its SolarXOne solar-powered drone at the 53rd International Paris Air Show (SIAE), the world's largest event in this field. A success for the startup supported, among others, by Centrale Nantes.

Hera-MI, start-up in the Centrale-Audencia-ense Nantes incubator, has been recognised for its international development. Hera-MI won 1st prize in the International Pitch Challenge on 30 September. The Challenge, organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Pays de la Loire region, was held in Laval and rewarded the international development projects of companies in region.

Zephyr & Borée, sail freight pioneer and start-up in the Centrale-Audencia-ensa incubator also supported by Atlanpole, is a shipping company specialized in the design and use of low-carbon shipping.

Pierre Durand took over as Director of the joint Centrale Nantes, Audencia, and Ensa business incubator on 1 September 2019.
