Congratulations to Joseph Al Khoury who received the best presenter award in the Energy Efficiency category at the 16th International Forum-Contest of Students and Young Researchers held in June 2020.

Centrale Nantes student Joseph Al Khoury received an award at the 16th International Forum-Contest of Students and Young Researchers "Topical Issues of Rational Use of Natural Resources”. This forum, which is jointly organized by Saint-Petersburg Mining University and the International Competence Centre for Mining-Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO, was held online from Saint Petersburg from 17 to 19 June 2020. Joseph won the award for best presenter in the Energy Efficiency category.
Joseph Al Khoury joined the Master's Programme in Mechanical Engineering, (Energetic and Propulsion) at Centrale Nantes in 2019-20 as part of a double degree with the Lebanese University. After an internship at the car manufacturer PSA on the subject of "Pre-design and optimization of a new energy converter for hybrid electric powertrains", Joseph is set to embark upon a PhD shortly at Mines Paris Tech.
